Increase your hunger for God even if you know the word, saved, think you have it figured out... keep that hunger alive and watch how you change.

With all of the hats that I wear, if I didn’t know God for myself it would be hard to get through these tough seasons. Leaning on my own understanding didn’t work. Before you start with all the self help books, or modeling your life after someone who may have what you want, try God.

This is coming from experience, not just a knowing.

This year I made space to cultivate a relationship with God. It wasn’t until I put and effort and was intentional in trying to hear God’s direction, and have a genuine relationship with him, that things changed on the inside. I have a peace even in times like these. Our God is bigger than anything you or I may be going through. It is because of his love that He carried us through even though we don’t deserve it. He desires our hearts, but he also allows us to choose to pursue Him. Just show up and he will do the rest.

I have a foundation of knowing about God but to have that relationship with Him is everything. I want to live in the fullness of God and who He has called me to be. It’s as easy as making an effort to get to know Him, be intentional, and show up with an expectation to hear from God. You don’t have to be perfect no one is. All he wants is your hearts.

My posts on here are sporadic because if I don’t have a caption that comes to me when I see the image, I just wait or don’t post… today I felt led to share what has gotten me through the hard times. It’s nothing new, it’s been here since the beginning of time and it’s God’s word. It never fails.

This project was birthed through prayer, and purpose. From there @storymotionla did an amazing job and brought the vision from storyboarding to screen. I am beyond proud of this team.

I’ll never get over this private residence intimate wedding. There was a about 10 guest, champagne, a bayou, and a beautiful sunset.

Intimate weddings are my favorite. We even had a fun sunset 2nd line at the end of the day.

It was a day full of love and appreciation.
